Szentendre (St. Andrew) Trip to the jewel of the Danube, a Baroque town of artists and artisans, half an hour bus ride from Budapest.
The artistic village is the most frequented and charming place, rich in Baroque buildings, picturesque houses, museums, Serbian orthodox churches, lovely cafés, colonies of artists and galleries, and offers numerous cultural programs throughout the season.
What we do there?
Walk on the main street, we will see the Center of Serbian Orthodox churches, the museum of marzipan (I invite you to coffee and cake). We will also have free time to shop, to relax a bit in one of the many bars, to stroll along the bank of the Danube or to see the museum of the famous ceramist Margret Kovács. To return to Budapest you can choose: by car or boat.
Duration: 4 hours by private car or minibus and with private English-speaking guide.
Katalin's choice: Visit to the open-air Village-Museum.
