Standard city tour, half day by car
With a half day to discover Budapest, the Sightseeing Tour makes an introduction for the first time visitor who can see all the key sites on my comfortable car or minibus. We take you to the Heroes’ Square, where we have a closer look at the statues representing the most outstanding figures of the Hungarian history, then we continue along the elegant Andrássy avenue, pass the Opera and St Stephen Cathedral - here we stop depending of the cultural interest of the group. Our tour goes through the bank- and administration district and we show you the “3 Parliaments”. Crossing the Danube on Margaret Bridge, passing by Margaret Island we drive to Buda side, where you visit the Royal Castle Area with the Fishermen''s Bastion and the Matthias Church and finally you can admire the sights of the most impressive view-point over Budapest, the Gellért Hill.
You can choose whether tour terminates at your hotel or tour finishes at the Elisabeth Bridge on the Pest side, where the guests get emerged in the always busy pedestrian zone of Váci street, and go to the Main Market Hall or get acquainted with the Hungarian specialties at famous Gerbeaud pastry shop.
Optional entrance fees in the city tour are to the Fishermen’s Bastion and the Matthias church. Inside visit is not essential but we advise you to do it because it’s worth the modest fee.
